Dr Vivien Yeo is a registered specialist periodontist under the Dental Board of Australia, and specialises in periodontal treatment and dental implants. Vivien completed her undergraduate dental degree at the University of Melbourne in 1999, graduating with honours. She then worked in public and private practices in rural Victoria and in Melbourne. In 2009-2010, she returned to study at the University of Melbourne, completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Implants). Dr Yeo then embarked on specialist training in Periodontics at the University of Melbourne in 2014, completing her specialist training in 2016. Her research thesis investigated the occurrence of biological implant complications in private practice in Victoria. Dr Yeo was also a clinical demonstrator in Periodontics for Doctor of Dental Surgery students at the University of Melbourne.
Dr Yeo is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, the Australian Society of Periodontology, the Australian Dental Association, and the International Team for Implantology. She is also a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (General Stream).
